Happy Easter!

He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!! Easter was such a fun, busy day. We started out with our own little egg hunt and then Grandpa & Grandma also had one for the girls. Next we went to church to celebrate the true meaning of the day. After church we were able to meet the Peters family for lunch at The Tavern and then we stopped by Grandma Goodmiller's for yet another egg hunt before driving back to St. Louis. Such a special day spent with those we love. Happy Easter!

Our drive back was made easier with this gorgeous Easter sunset. It reminded me of last Easter when I woke up in my hospital bed to the most gorgeous sunrise with my new little baby sleeping next to me. It was such a special moment where I had the most immense feeling of gratitude that I had ever felt. Thank you, Lord, for sending your son to this imperfect world to die for my sins. "Because I know He holds the future, and life is worth the living just because He lives!"
