The Good Stuff: February's Pictures

February really flew by this year! We have had a lot of fun this month with play dates, gym classes, and just playing at home. Kately is not only army crawling (still not on her knees) but she has started pulling up and scooting around things. I'm afraid she will be walking sooner than I think! We have also made a huge decision this month - we are going to build a house. We always knew we wanted to move before Lyla starts school (whether that would be here in St. Louis or back to Indiana) so we have always looked at homes online but not "seriously looked." Well, we fell in love with a house online and after the THIRD time we looked at it and met with the builder, we decided we would put in an offer. However, while we were there meeting with the builder another family was walking through the house. Apparently they overheard how interested we were in the house and they put in an offer and down payment right when we left. We were a little bummed but we really like the builder and he has two other lots for sale (right beside this house) so we bought one of the lots and are getting ready to start the planning process. We are looking forward to creating a house of our own and making all of the selections. We will definitely be sad to leave this house, but it will be nice to have a backyard for the girls to play in, a more quiet street and neighborhood, and I will sleep better knowing both girls are upstairs.
