Birthday Girl

Happy Birthday, Lyla Jean!! I can't believe what a year this has been. You have brought so much joy into our lives, we are very blessed to be your parents. We love you so much!!

Here is a look at the little lady's big day :)

She actually slept in until 8:00 (Happy Birthday, Mommy!!)

 We started the morning off with some special Birthday Pancakes

After breakfast we played for awhile in her new teepee and then she took a good morning nap before meeting Daddy for lunch at Panera Bread, which has her FAVORITE macaroni and cheese.

 

 I really wanted to take her to the park, but it was raining so after lunch we ran a few errands then came home to take an afternoon nap. After nap time it was time for PRESENTS!!

After gifts it was cake time. I love how she is laughing in this next picture because we are singing to her (it was pretty bad!!)

 She did great at demolishing the cupcake, but she wasn't really into eating it. Is this MY kid??

I made some homemade pizza for dinner (another favorite) and then we all headed outside to play with the new water table and get some swinging in since the rain finally stopped.

Happy Birthday, Baby Girl! It was so much fun celebrating wonderful you!

P.S. This past weekend we had her first birthday party with family. It was a lot of fun and Lyla was beyond spoiled! Thank you everyone who made this party so much fun. Her second party is this coming weekend in St. Louis with friends. I will post pictures from both parties soon!
