Another month gone too fast! August was filled with lots of bike rides, play dates, trips to the park, birthday parties, family, friends and fun. I can still hardly believe Lyla is one. She talks a lot and has been taking lots of steps. We have made the transition to whole milk and it went a lot better than I thought it would. Although I do still miss nursing her, she has become very snuggly at night after she drinks her milk and we read books so that has helped. Her favorite thing to do right now is tackle Heath and me. If we are laying on the floor it doesn't take long for her to crawl over and get us. She laughs so hard every time. She has become the sleeping pro. For the last 2 months (unless we are at Grandma's) she has been going to bed around 7:30 and sleeping until 7/7:30 in the morning. Yahoo!! Even though I get sad thinking about how big she is getting, every phase gets better and better. There is nothing like her saying "Mama" and then giving me the biggest bear hug! I teared up the other day in the car when she said, "Mama"I looked at her in the mirror and she started blowing me kisses. Ahh! Be still my heart!
