Daddy's Mobile Lab

Heath has spent the last few months preparing for Stryker's Mobile Lab to come to St. Louis to one of his largest hospitals. We decided to stop by and check out all of his hard work! Very cool to see - thankfully there were no cadavers out while we were there! 😅 Good job, Daddy!

After checking out the lab, we went to the top of Barnes Hospital to have a quick lunch with Daddy

Dance Camp

Since Lyla wants to take dance class this year, I signed her up for a short 3 day camp at Renee Johnson's School of Dance to make sure she was ready for the class. The class was for 3 and 4 year olds and started the last Thursday of July (was only on Thursday mornings for 3 weeks) - when L was only 2! I was nervous with how she would do being the youngest one in class. On their last day, the parents were able to come in and watch and I could not be more proud of my little dancer! She loved it and it was so fun for me to see her dancing in her little leotard. I'm not going to lie, I may have teared up a few times!

Lyla's Last Little Gym

**Warning** - Super old post but really trying to resurrect this blog! Recently the girls have been looking through the books of my older posts that I had printed and we have loved reminiscing. This is one resolution I have for this year...to get caught up before next year!

I can't believe Lyla is finished with the Little Gym! We have been attending classes here since she was 16 months old. I have loved our quality time we have spent together in this place. From just starting to run to doing summersaults, walking across a beam, and swinging from the high bar - I can't believe how much she has grown here! She has made a lot of friends and her confidence has soared. She decided this year she would rather take dance class, so on to the next! Here are some pictures from her very last class.

Happy Third Birthday, Lyla!!

THREE. How did this happen?!? These three years have flown by so fast! It was nice that L's day fell on a Saturday this year so Daddy could spend the whole day with us. We were busy! Presents, Grant's Farm, swimming, and cupcakes...couldn't ask for a better day!

Lyla Jean, you make Daddy and me so happy! You have the sweetest heart, most inquisitive mind, and such a fun free spirit. We love you so much!

First things first, presents!
