Lyla's Birthday Party & Kately's Baptism

We had such a great weekend celebrating our little ladies with family and friends. We were so thankful so many family members made the drive to St. Louis. We were only sad the weekend went so fast! The grandparents all made it on Friday afternoon and then my sisters and their families came later. Saturday morning we all met downtown at the new Ballpark Village outside of Busch Stadium for lunch. Then we had Lyla's birthday party Saturday afternoon. It was so much fun having a house filled with family and friends. Sunday morning then was sweet Kately's baptism and then we had everyone back to our house for lunch. Such a special day! Thank you everyone for such a memorable weekend!

Jesus

Words cannot express how much I love this little lady. She has had quite the obsession with Jesus lately and it makes my heart absolutely melt! Every time she sees a cross she yells, "Jesus!!" I ask her why Jesus was on the cross and she says it is because "Jesus LOVES me!!" Every nap time/bed time she wants me to sing "Jesus Loves Me" but I love it even more when I catch her singing it. It goes something like, "Jesus loves it, Jesus loves it, Jesus loves it, the Bible is sooooooo!" We have also been talking a lot about her upcoming birthday party and every time I ask her who is coming to her party her response is "Leah, Noah, Everett, and Jesus." (Side note: she is very excited everyone is coming!!) One morning we were making muffins and singing, "Do you know the Muffin Man?" She told me she did in fact know the Muffin Man and it is Jesus! I'm so excited to see the love for Jesus develop in this little girl. My prayer is that she will always know that Jesus LOVES her and seeks to find him in all she does.
