What a crazy few days! We have officially moved out of our house and are currently living out of boxes in the rental house while our house is being built. Lucky for us our builder had a house, about 5 miles south of our old house, that we could rent until our new house is finished. Thankfully the rental house is in a nice neighborhood with an elementary school in our backyard. I'm foreseeing many evenings playing on the school's playground!
Now, because we love to keep things exciting...Our closing date for our house was Monday, July 20th. However, we could not get into the rental until Thursday, July 16th. For Mother's Day Heath had bought me VIP tickets to Luke Bryan and the concert of course was July 16th. For my Dad's 60th Birthday we got him the Indy Experience where he got to ride in the two-seater Indy car and go around the Speedway. Months ago he picked his date which was July 16th. Thinking we would already be in IN to watch Dad at the Speedway, awhile back we also bought tickets to go with my family to a Fort Wayne Tincaps baseball game for princess night that Friday the 17th... Needless to say, we had a lot already planned before we found out we would also be moving that same week!
We are so grateful to my parents for coming down and helping us pack up the last few boxes as well as taking care of the girls.
Enjoying ice cream one last time on our patio
Going to miss this house!
Moving day was absolutely crazy! Mom and Dad left early that morning to head to Indianapolis. We were so sad to miss this but thankfully they took the girls with them so they could watch Grandpa. Here are some pics from Dad's fun day:
Ready to go!
There goes Grandpa!!

Meanwhile, back in St. Louis... we were dealing with one of the worst moving companies! We had 3 lazy guys who told us they just wouldn't be able to fit all our stuff on their truck...but they really appreciate tips... ?!?!?! We had them move our big stuff and then we scrambled to find a U-Haul truck to get the rest of our stuff to the Rental House (pictured below)
I felt so bad leaving Heath at our old house to fill the U-Haul truck by himself while I ran to the rental to shower and meet my girlfriends for the Luke Bryan concert. We did have a great time though!
Three Princesses ready for the game!
It may have been hot and we were exhausted but it was a fun night!
It was Princess Night so L got to meet Cinderella
and Anna & Elsa!!!
Dream come true!
Someone woke up for the end of the game!
Anna & Elsa came out to sing, "Let it Go!"
Awestruck!
The night ended with a big fireworks show. I'm afraid my girls will be unimpressed when they go to a St. Louis Cardinals game!
Our plan was to drive back to St. Louis Sunday morning to finish packing a few things in the kitchen of the old house and then one final clean before Monday afternoon. However, our realtor called Friday evening and apparently the buyers wanted one final walkthrough Sunday evening...ugh! So up and at 'em early Saturday morning to get everything finished. We were all a little tired on the way home!
