July's Pictures

I'm kind of glad July is over! What a crazy month! Home inspections, packing, moving, picking out things for the new house...I'm ready to relax and start enjoying summer! After all the rain caused some setbacks in June, the new house is actually starting to look like a house! We have settled into the rental house without any transition problems with the girls. Lyla still asks every night what house are we sleeping in, "My house, Mr. Mike's house, or the new house?" Mr. Mike is our builder. Sometimes I wonder what people think when she tells them "I'm sleeping at Mr. Mike's house tonight..." She does ask a lot of questions about the people who are living in our old house but she doesn't seem to miss it too much. It also helped that the room she has at the rental is painted bright pink! Most evenings after dinner if it is nice, we go over to play on the playground at the school behind us. I'm so proud of my little troopers and am looking forward to some summer fun before move #2!

We've got a one car garage framed!

Last night sleeping in her very first big girl room

I love looking into my grocery cart and seeing them hold hands

Even better!!

First floor

One day we escaped the heat and went to the Magic House

Daddy made it one afternoon to Kate's Little Gym class

These two love the chaotic mess of boxes everywhere! Obstacle Courses!

More Little gym fun

Big stuff!

Second Floor!

Looking into the great room

View from my kitchen

I signed Lyla up for a 4 week dance camp to see if she likes it before I sign her up for classes this fall. I'm not sure who is more excited!!

We had a playdate one morning with Lyla's friends Darci & Natalie. They were having quite the little tea party

This girl and her bunny slippers crack me up! Every morning she wants them on before we go to the kitchen to get her milk :)

Then on the weekends we sometimes just roll in ONLY the bunny slippers!!

Checking out our new "backyard"

Mommy even showed off some of her old playground skills...

It is nice because the rental has a completely unfinished basement. We basically moved everything out of the way down there except what we would be needing for the next few months. I finally got things kinda organized to feel more at home.

Seriously, I know this is overkill but I love this kid in these slippers!

Finally getting in some pool time

Loving on her babies

"Let it Go!!"

My little princesses playing with princesses

Stonework and roof are coming along

Enjoying a cake pop while grocery shopping
