October's Pictures

October was such a nice month, especially weather wise. It was nice being able to enjoy more time outside before the winter hits. The girls are more fun than ever! Kately is now eating vegetables and sitting up all by herself. She loves laughing at her sister - they have quite the conversations in the back of the car! Lyla is constantly talking, singing, twirling, dancing, and running "really fast." She is really into making things lately and asks almost everyday if we can do a project. We recently let her watch Frozen, and it sucked her in! She now wants to wear "pretty dresses like Elsa" all the time and sings "Let it Go" over and over and over again... I am constantly overwhelmed with how much love I have for these sweet girls.  Here are some pics from this month:

Little country bumpkin (she had to wear her boots this day because she had her tractor shirt on)

Silly monkey

John Deere babe

Someone woke up happy from her nap

Story time at the library

Making a spider web at Story Time

Can you tell how thrilled she was to be a spider?!? :)

When it is nice out and you do a good job at Story Time you get to go to the park behind the library

Kately enjoying the park

Our furry babies

Someone was so tired she couldn't make it through her cereal

I know I'm a terrible mother, but I had to take a picture of someone in timeout at the grocery store...and I apologize to everyone who witnessed this! "Toddler tantrum aisle 5!"

Goofy Girl!

New Halloween pjs

My mini mommy

Some meals I have to hold Kately while I eat, Lyla decided her baby had to be held too

Someone went potty for the first time on the potty so she got a new sparkly bracelet

Sitting up well now

I love how she always sleeps with her bottom in the air

When we were walking into the grocery store a firetruck pulled up and Lyla was very excited. Apparently the driver saw her and chased us into the store to give L her own hat. Made her day!

Just chillin'

Horsey ride

Picking up leaves for a "project"

Working on her leaf project

Looks so big!

Supporting Sis at her 6 month Dr. appt

My big 6 month old

The Verba's stopped by on their way back from Colorado. We were very excited to see them and Lyla really enjoyed some cousin time with Ev

Sometimes a tool belt works perfectly for a baby carrier

For some reason this tiger is her favorite toy right now...hope that doesn't mean she is going to MIZZOU!

Not quite big enough yet for the bouncer, but the couch cushion helped

First green beans...

She likes them!

I missed a perfect photo opportunity of Heath breaking into our house, but here is the aftermath. One evening I put dinner in the oven and we had about 45 min until it was done so we took the girls on a little walk around the neighborhood. When we got back we realized neither of us had grabbed a house key and every door was locked...with dinner cooking in the oven. We had one cracked pane on this window already so we decided this was our best option. The one funny part of all of this was while Heath was on the ladder Lyla kept yelling,"Daddy get down, Daddy be careful!"

The dangers of napping with a headband

A couple of days later watching Daddy fix the window

Those blue eyes

Heath surprised me and my girlfriend, Jenny, with tickets to Dirty Dancing at the Fabulous Fox

We had a great time

Can never have enough accessories!

"Helping" me sort laundry. She said she needed the blue sports bra on to "essorize"

Enjoying a warm October day with lunch on the patio

Kisses through the barn door

Lately we have to wear a tutu EVERY day

I love how she sleeps with her hands folded

All of her October projects :)
