April's Pictures

Because of all of the pictures in my other posts this month (especially of K), I don't have as many as usual. We obviously had a very eventful month and we are loving every minute of being a family of four. I can't believe how big Lyla is now. Everyone warned me as soon as we had the baby Lyla would look so big...she really is a kid now and not my little baby! Even though it makes me sad how fast time is going, I'm so excited to watch her grow up. She talks so much now and makes us laugh all the time. Kately is such a snuggle bug and we are amazed at how different of a baby she is from Lyla. I can't say it enough how blessed I am to have two beautiful, healthy daughters who mean the world to me!

Lyla had a week where every day she wanted to wear her Halloween hair bow

We had a lot more park days this month

Look at those long, skinny legs!

One night we had bad storms with tornado warnings so we were hanging out in the basement well after bedtime. Poor thing just wanted to go to sleep!

Heath and I got to enjoy one last date night before Kately arrived thanks to the Zelles watching Lyla. We enjoyed some sushi at The Drunken Fish in Ball Park Village and then went to The Chase for dessert. It was a fun night!

Getting her ready for the Easter egg hunt by having her hunt gum balls!! She didn't realize she was actually doing yard work since we have a billion in our front yard...

Enjoying her green smoothie

When it isn't humid her hair is really long!

Rocking Daddy's cowboy boots

Someone thought we were bringing out all of the baby equipment for her

This is why my house never stays clean. I get one room done and find another one like this...

She wanted to lay down and look for airplanes

Enjoying an outdoor lunch with Mommy

Enjoying dinner with Easton and Noah

Love these three

Can't wait for Kately to join these two cuties!

Finally Home!

We are home! Leaving the hospital is always so scary...they are trusting us with this baby!?! It wasn't as bad this time since it was the second time around but I was definitely nervous about having two at home now. It was also a relief knowing my mom was sticking around for two weeks! Can I just say how blessed we are to have such amazing parents and grandparents to our girls! We really enjoyed all of our time with Grandpa and Grandma Warner and Grandpa Peters. I love watching them with our girls. Mom, a special shout out to you. Thank you for all of your help! Between cleaning my house, doing our laundry, cooking meals, taking care of Lyla, and helping me figure out how to be a mom of two - I can't thank you enough. Here are some pictures from our first days home:

We are outta here!

First things first when we got home - bubbles! This little lady needed some special attention since we had been gone so long

So sleepy

Sorry for all of the sleeping pictures, but I can't stop staring at her when she sleeps! So sweet

Who is in a deeper sleep? Grandpa or Kately? :)

Having Grandma around means having fun desserts like ducks on a pond
