Fun Weekend with the Grandparents

We were so glad that my parents and grandmother were able to come down for a long weekend this past weekend. They arrived Friday afternoon just before the snow started. We got about 3 inches so Lyla was able to really enjoy the snow for the first time. Talk about a little daredevil, she loved sledding down the hill on our driveway and was not happy when we made her come inside. It was a lot of fun to watch and listen to her squeal. We also saw Santa, twice. Saturday morning we ran by the mall and decided to see what she thought of the jolly, old man. Luckily Daddy was able to make her laugh so we got a good picture. On Sunday, in honor of Mom's birthday, we went to the Brunch with Santa at Westborough after church. Unfortunately Daddy had to catch a flight for work, so he wasn't able to make it. I did not do a very good job of getting her to smile for Santa so I ended up having to sit on his lap as well, poor guy! Sunday evening we went down to the AB Brewery to see all of the Christmas lights before having some birthday cake. We had so much fun and Lyla was a little upset this morning not to see her "Papaw" or "Mamaws" when she came down for breakfast. Thanks for coming!

Lyla loved Great Grandma's scarf

We don't let Lyla watch TV, but after bath time every night we make one exception…LETTERS! Heath and I must be getting old because we watch Wheel of Fortune every night and now our 1 year old is obsessed with the show too! Every night when we are getting on Lyla's pjs she starts chanting LETTERS, because she is so excited. Here she is watching Letters with her grandparents Friday night.
