Last weekend we were lucky enough to have all of my family come to our house! It was hot and it was crowded, but it was a lot of fun! I love it that everyone made the long trip down and squeezed into our little house. I love watching the kids play with each other and can't wait to see these cousins grow up together. Thanks everyone for a fun, memorable weekend!
Saturday morning we took the stroller brigade downtown
First stop was The City Garden to splash in the fountains on this hot July day
I love this look of pure joy on Nathaniel's face! |
Don't mess with these tough dads! |
Next we headed down to the arch
We ate downtown at Bailey's Range for lunch…so many burgers to choose from AND homemade ice-cream! Wohoo!
Having fun playing in Uncle Heath's old wagon
After naps we went swimming
Poor E! So tired from swimming! |
Pretty girls in their matching dresses
Sunday while the men golfed, the ladies and children all went to Grant's Farm
Of all the times we have been here, this is the closest I've ever seen the buffalo! |
Twins again! This time in matching outfits made by Grandma! |
Cute shot of the brothers |
She was happy until this little guy bit her |
Watching the monkeys |
Okay, I have to explain this next picture - I swear I'm not laughing because this mean thing is about to take my daughter's head off! We were standing near this camel to get our picture taken and I heard Lyla laughing so I looked over just in time to see this thing about an inch from her face! About 10 people standing around screamed, I'm surprised CPS wasn't called on me! Mother of the Year.
I was definitely more cautious near the Clydesdales! |
It is so hard to get a good pic of these three babies, but they are so cute it doesn't matter! :)
