Lyla's 2 Year & Kately's 3 Month Pictures

How has time gone so fast?!? I swear we were just having Lyla's 3 month pictures taken! I was so surprised when we got these back how good they turned out considering how the photo shoot went! It was a balmy/humid day, Daddy couldn't make it, and someone was having a tough time cooperating...it is hard to sit still for a picture when you are 2. I love these sweet girls so much and treasure these photos that capture their sweet, silly, and spunky personalities!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Lyla!

How is my baby 2?!? We had such a fun day celebrating Miss Lyla Jean. We started the day off with "special" birthday pancakes and then went to her favorite park to see the farm animals. After Daddy came home from work we opened presents then met the Trott family for Food Truck Friday. Lyla had a lot of fun playing with her buddy Easton. I can't believe how grown up this lady is. I love how she is talking ALL. THE. TIME. She is constantly making us laugh. I love when she comes in the room and says to me, "what are you doing, honey?" She has such a big heart and LOVES babies, including her little sister. Happy Birthday, sweet Lyla! Mommy and Daddy love you to the moon and back!!

Fun Weekend

Lately Lyla has been OBSESSED with the arch! Every time we drive by it or she sees it on the news she can't stop talking about "Lyla's Arch" so this weekend we decided to be tourists and take the girls down to the arch grounds. We had to wait awhile for the tram ride to the top so we spent about an hour in the museum which we all enjoyed. We don't think Lyla really understood when we got to the top that we were actually inside the arch but she loved looking out the little windows at the city.
